Compared to Gustav Körnig's other books, baby blue // tiles has its focus on composition, exploring different positions of figure and ornamentation, again with the help of his familiar cast. As in blue tiles // small hands, which was created around the same time, the individual pages are each printed from one plate; here, however, ornament and figure overlap instead of always facing each other on different pages.
